A little about myself: I'm Mrs. Guenther. I grew up in the small town of Defiance, Iowa and graduated from Harlan Community High School. After graduation I moved to Norfolk, Nebraska and received my Associates of Arts degree in Journalism; I then moved to Wayne and attended Wayne State College where I earned by Bachelors of Science degree in Elementary Education. I spent a year substitute teaching in the area and then began teaching full time at St. Mary's in Osmond where I was in a combination of classrooms ranging from preschool through eighth grade. Along with classroom educator, I spent five years as the school administrator. In 2018 I completed my Masters Degree in Curriculum and Assessment from Wayne State College as a Reading Specialist for preschool through twelfth grade. In 2020 I began teaching here at Randolph Public Schools!
I LOVE my job as an educator and look forward to coming to school every day. Along with my classroom duties as the Title I coordinator for math and reading, I also co-sponsor the Cardinal Craniums high ability learner group for 4th through 6th graders. Cardinal Craniums offers some great extra-curricular activities for students who show exceptional achievement in the classroom and on a variety of standardized tests.
